IRI, Malaysia ink agreement to expand cooperation

IRI Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Abdulreza Sheikholeslami and his Malaysian counterpart signed an agreement to develop the two countries cooperation.

The two countries agreed on drawing up plans for training the workforce as well as exchanging instructors and university students.

Holding joint meetings, exhibitions, and training centers are also part of the agreement.

Sheikholeslami also suggested a union of Islamic countries labor ministers and spoke of it as a way to boost cooperation between the Islamic countries.

IRI Labor and Social affairs minister added that Tehran and Kuala Lumpur can make common efforts in wood industry, furniture, and handicrafts.

Joint products, tourism, and exchanging technical services between the two countries are also fields named for further cooperation.
