ISIL Fails to Prevail over Syrian Army Positions in Eastern Deir Ezzur

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in several flanks in al-Mayadeen desert in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

Also, the army’s artillery and missile units pounded terrorists’ movements in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

The army soldiers managed to fend off ISIL attacks after killing and wounding a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment.

In the meantime, the army dispatched fresh forces and equipment to Badiyeh (desert) al-Sham in Eastern Deir Ezzur to launch a mop-up operations in the region.

In a similar development on Monday, the army forwarded more forces and military equipment, including several cannons, to its positions in Eastern Damascus, to launch a fresh round of large-scale attacks on ISIL that stormed the government forces’ position in al-Mayadeen desert recently.

In the meantime, the army forces engaged in a tough battle with ISIL in Eastern Badiyeh (desert) between Western Deir Ezzur and Eastern Homs, killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

Also, the army aircraft pounded several times ISIL’s positions South of Humeimeh region, imposing heavy casualties on the militants.
