BBC attempt to rob Iranian cultural documents failed: Intelligence Ministry

Attempt made by the British Broadcasting Corporation to rob artistic, historical and cultural documents from Iran was foiled through vigilance of Iranian security forces, the public relations department of the Intelligence Ministry said on Sunday

The BBC intended to rob the documents by their agents in Iran from the government centers keeping archives of documents, it said.

It said the BBC action was aimed to make up for its previous failures to do so.

The Ministry of Intelligence will release further information in this regard at the proper time.
