ISIL Terrorists Sustain Heavy Losses in Army Attacks in Syria’s Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army announced that dozens of ISIL terrorists were killed and their military equipment was destroyed in the government troops’ offensive near the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur.

The army said that its forces stormed the ISIL strongholds in al-Hweika, killed or wounded tens of them and destroyed their military vehicles and equipment.

On Tuesday, Russian warplanes conducted airstrikes on Takfiri terrorists’ positions in Deir Ezzur province, which claimed the lives of large groups of militants in the region.

Russian fighter jets targeted terrorist’ position in the vicinity of Deir Ezzur Airport, informed sources said.

Syrian military officials announced on Monday that ISIL centers in the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur were massively bombed by the Russian air force, leaving tens of the terrorists dead or wounded.

The sources said that the continued airstrikes of the Russian fighter jets on the ISIL positions in different parts of Deir Ezzur province have resulted in the heavy death toll of them.
