During his meeting on Saturday with a Jordanian lawyers’ delegation, headed by lawyer Samih Khreis, al-Halqi said ”part of the unfair war against Syria is legal that necessitates exerting synchronized efforts by lawyers for making it clear to public opinion and international organizations.”

PM pointed out that the war against Syria is targeting the region’s security and stability and inciting to violence and terrorism, underlining the necessity that all parties, countries and individuals involved in the war against the Syrian people be legally pursued and held to account.

He also stressed the importance that the media outlets involved in shedding the Syrian blood be sued as they violated the ethics of journalism for money-making, indicating that the success of legal processes in this will help restore legitimacy to the United Nations and prevent rogue states from pursuing the policy of intervention in other countries’ affairs.

Premier al-Halqi reviewed the dimensions of the anti-Syria war, voicing confidence in the Syrian people’s inevitable victory against terrorism.

He highlighted the Syrian government’s successes in preserving the Syrian social fabric and addressing the economic and services status, and compensating the victims of terrorist attacks, pointing out to the government’s non-stop efforts and the subsidization policies to meet the needs of citizens.

He affirmed that the Syrian government is open to all international political initiatives that believe in political solution and reject foreign intervention, stressing that solution will be exclusively Syrian.

For his part, Khreis voiced support to the Syrian people and army in defense of Syria against aggression. The delegation members expressed unlimited support to Syria in the face of the aggression that is aimed at fracturing it.
