Islamic Movement in Nigeria marks the demise of the Prophet(S) in Zaria

zkdem128th of Safar is the day for commemoration of the demise or martyrdom of the holy Prophet Muhammad Bn Abdullahi (sallallah alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam).
The martrydom of the Prophet on this day is commemorated worldwide by the Followers of Ahlulbayt (AS). The Islamic Movement in Nigeria commemorated the day at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria on 31 of Dec. 2013, a programme attended by thousands from far and near.
In his speech Sheikh Zakzaky(H) explained that the Prophet departed this world in Safar 11AH, which sparked great sorrow to the Ummah and brought to the end of revelation. He surther said that 28th of Safar is also martyrdom of Imam Hasan Almujtaba(AS) 50 AH, according to a report.
He spoke on the sufferings of the holy Prophet(AS) whose matrydom gave way for those eager, within and outside Islam, to accomplish their aim- the aim they could not achieve while he was alive. The aim was to do with leadership having the Prophet declared ALi as his successor contrary to thier wish. Those who opposed the declaration were scheming to prevent it from happpening.
The sufferings and trials of the Prophet were the greatest being the last and greatest of all the Messengers of Allah. The Prophet also perceived a danger facing the Ummah on his mission as some people around him were waiting for an opportunity upon his departure from this world; this could plunge the Ummah into serious problems.
However, in oder to save the Ummah from such a trial and tribulations the Prophet formed an army with the inclusion of all the people who coould be problem under the commandership of Usamah bn Zaid. At first, they refused to go, but they later obeyed when the Prophet said ‘ may the curse of Allah be upon those who refused to follow Usamah”
Seeing his worsening health condition, those sent under Usamah hang around the city of Madina and installed a spy to report them on the health conditon of the Prophet. They returned to the city upon hearing about the Prophet’s worsening health condition.
On his sick bed, the Prophet saw them, so he ordered for a paper and ink to write for the Ummah what if it stick to would never go astray. However, one of the person around denied the paper and ink to be brought saying ‘book of Allah suffices us’ . this devided the Ummah into two as they quarelled among themselves, then the Prophet ordered them to disperse.
The word spoken to Prophet is a serious word which means an insult, though, some people tried to give it different meanings in order to cover the person who uttered it.
However, Allah has already cleared the Prophet of all indecencies and bad manners in the holy Qur’an: ’for the favour of God upon you, you are not an insane’ ; ‘he (the Prophet) does not speak of his own desires’; ‘you are indeed on the best of manner’ .
Ibn Abbas called the day the Prophet was rebuked as the ‘day of sadness’ .which was Thursday- the event which, up to date, divides the Ummah into two: those who are with the order of the Prophet and those who are with the order of the person who rebuked the prophet.
