‘Israel committed terrorism in Gaza by using unconventional weapons’

A political activist says the Israeli regime has committed an act of terrorism by using unconventional weapons against the civilian population of the Gaza Strip, Press TV reports.

“Israel has used white phosphorous; that was confirmed in the last couple of days. Israel has been bombing the Gaza Strip with land, sea and air attacks consistently for over a week now and the Palestinians suffer from this state terrorism,” activist and filmmaker Harry Fear said in an interview with Press TV on Thursday.

He went on to say that Israel has murdered dozens of innocent civilians including women and children in Gaza which indicates that Tel Aviv “treats the Palestinians as if they are not human beings.”

“Israel thinks that the Palestinians are not human beings; that is the only idea to explain why Israel will use this force on a largely defenseless Third World population here in Gaza,” Fear noted.

On November 14, the Israeli regime launched a deadly offensive on the blockaded Gaza Strip, which killed more than 160 Palestinians and injured some 1,200 others.

“We have seen children…and as you alluded to al-Dalou massacre, which occurred at the weekend, four children were killed, four women were killed, pregnant women have been killed, dozens of elderly men have been killed, dozens of children have been killed and it is fairly difficult to understand what Israel expects the Palestinian people to do when it inflicts this sort of collateral damage on the civilian population,” the Gaza-based activist said.

He further noted that the Palestinian people will not give up their fight for their rights and for justice despite the ongoing brutal Israeli attacks against the besieged Gaza Strip.

“There is a real unified civil support here in Gaza for the resistance groups, which have done such a strong job in repelling the Israeli aggression, that is according to various and most Palestinians here,” Fear stated.
