“Israel”, Cyprus Rack Underwater Electricity Cable Deal

The “Israeli” enemy and the neighboring offshore Cyprus signed a deal on Sunday to install an underwater electricity cable between both territories.
This comes as a first step in a broader bid of power transfer between the Zionist entity and Europe.

According to AFP, the cable, hoped to be complete by 2016, will stretch over 287 kilometers, at a depth of 2,000 meters underwater.
During the signing, “Israel” Electric Corporation’s CEO Yiftach Ron Tal said that the so-called “Euro-Asia Interconnect” is a “historic event”.
Referring that additional water cables will connect Cyprus to the “mainland” Europe via Greece, Zionist Energy and Water minister Uzi Landau said, “”Israel” will be able to receive backup (electricity) from Cyprus and Europe, and in the future, we will be able to provide them with energy”.

“”Israel” is connecting with Europe, this is also marking “Israel” as an island of stability in the region”, Landau further claimed.
On his part, chairman of the Cypriot company DEH Quantum Energy, Athanasios Ktoridis, said that all participants; i.e. Cyprus, Greece, and the Zionist entity would gain from the said deal.

“Greece will increase its energy efficiency, and become a significant player in the European energy chess-board. Cyprus will cease being an island and supply a steady flow of energy in and out of the country, and “Israel” will become a major energy provider to the European continent”, Ktoridis said.

Previously last month, “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with Cypriot leaders on energy cooperation and economic ties. On another hand, Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri also visited Cyprus on an official visit earlier this month to discuss the “maritime” border demarcation, especially in light of the oil and natural gas offshore fields’ revelations, which “Israel” is seeking violation and invasion.
