The Syrian army’s special forces smashed a convoy of terrorists carrying large amounts of explosives and military equipment near al-Ramousiyeh square in the Southern parts of Aleppo city, killing tens of militants.

The Syrian army units planted bombs on the route of the terrorists’ convoy and then blew them up when the Jeish al-Fatah militants arrived, destroying a large number of vehicles carrying weapons and forces.

The operations left over 47 terrorists dead and tens of others wounded while many others were targeted and killed by the Syrian army snipers. The bodies of the dead terrorists scattered on the scene of operation.

The Syrian special forces could return to their headquarters after the operation without any  damage or casualties.

The Syrian army has been launching step-by-step operations like the operations in Northern Aleppo to fully block the narrow corridors opened by terrorists in Southwestern Aleppo.

Reports said on Sunday that the Syrian army men and their popular allies launched a fresh round of attacks on Jeish al-Fatah’s positions and captured two key heights overlooking the Southern and Southwestern districts of Aleppo.

Syrian government forces won back Um al-Qara’a hill which has given the upper hand to the army to monitor the Southern and Southwestern districts of Aleppo as it overlooks the strategic road from al-Ramousiyeh to Khan Touman.

Jeish al-Fatah suffered a heavy death toll and decided to retreat from the key hill.

Also, on Sunday night, the Syrian army units, led by Colonel Soheil, along with Hezbollah forces started operations in the Southeastern parts of al-Hamdaniya and the Western side of the cement factory in Southwest Aleppo and broke the defense lines of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists.

The terrorists sustained heavy damage and tolls during the surprise attacks of the Syrian army and resistance forces on Sunday, left the corpses of their comrades in the Northern buildings of the Aviation Technical College and withdrew towards the Southern buildings of the college and further back to the Artillery College buildings.

The terrorists could purge the aviation technical college from the terrorists and the resistance forces stationed in the college targeted the militants’ positions in the Artillery and Arms Colleges.

Also, the missile units of Hezbollah and the army’s artillery units pounded the terrorists deployed in the Artillery College, Arms College and the Western parts of Ramousiyeh and the Southern parts of the colleges.

Over 60 terrorists were killed and tens of others were wounded in clashes with the army and its allies in the region.

Mop-up operations continued in the Military Academy region on Monday and the Syrian logistic forces were reinvigorating their positions.

If the Syrian forces can fully cleanse the Military Academy in Southwestern Aleppo of terrorists, the narrow corridor opened by militants to enter Aleppo will be blocked.
