The commentator on Arab affairs in the “Israeli” Channel 2, Ehud Ya’ari, declared that “Tel Aviv should be worried about the developments in Yemen.”

He added, “We consider that Ansarullah movement is a Yemeni replica of Hizbullah; it controls all Yemen via Iranian weapon and support. It is based on the Strait of Bab al-Mandab which is the pathway towards the Red Sea.”

Ya’ari continued, “Houthis will control Yemen, and I do not see the forces loyal to President Abed Rabbo Hadi Mansour able to stop them since parts of the Yemeni army loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh are fighting alongside the Houthis who are largely backed by Iran; thus we are but a few days or hours away from Yemen becoming a pro-Iran state through the Houthis.”

For his part, the Arab affairs analyst at the Zionist Channel 10, Zvi Yehezkeli said that “the Yemeni President Mansour Abdul Hadi’s escape means that the Sunni rule in the classic Yemen upon which the United States depended, is about to fall in the hands of the Shiites.”

He continued, “It is the first Shiite coup in the Middle East. The coup that took place in Iran was in a Shiite state, but here the Shiites are a minority that rebelled and took over a Sunni state, and they are near Aden to where President Abdul Hadi escaped thru a Saudi ship.”

Further to the point, Yehezkeli explained that the Shiite “began in Saada in the north, on the border with Saudi Arabia, and then they reached the capital Sanaa where they took over means of combat and aircrafts. Then, they extended to Ta’izz and Lahij on their way to Aden.”

“And if they continued along this axis – which they are close to -a Shiite state linked to Iran will be established; Thus, Saudi Arabia will lose and Iran will win. However, Saudi Arabia is massing troops on the border and the Yemenis are seeking the intervention of the debilitated Arab League, but eventually a tremendous success for Iran would be recorded – Iran is the upper hand and it “occupied a state”… Consequently, Iran wanted an Arab Spring and it got a Shiite Spring,” Yehezkeli stated.
