’Israeli’ MK Storms Aqsa, Palestinians Oblige Him to Leave

“Israeli” Likud Knesset Member Moshe Feiglin stormed with a number of other right-“Israeli” wing the Holy al-Aqsa mosque and toured its courtyards.
Thus, clashes broke out between the Palestinian worshipers and the “Israeli” forces escorting the MK and his followers.

Worshipers shouted “Allah Akbar” at the group before “Israeli” forces raided the compound and began assaulting them.

In response, young Palestinians began throwing stones at the Knesset members, forcing them to leave the compound.

Several worshipers and students sustained bruises and one of them was treated at a clinic in the Aqsa compound.

An “Israeli” police spokeswoman said two Palestinians were detained after throwing stones at Moshe Feiglin.
“Israeli” forces regularly escort Jewish violators to the site, often leading to tension with Palestinians.

After the incident, MK Feiglin said: “I went to the “Temple Mount” morning in full coordination and early notice with a group of 25 people. Immediately as we walked into the compound a well-planned Arab provocation ensued. At some point there were also pushing and stone throwing.”

Feiglin further added that “the police managed to restore its control of the situation and the field commander acted calmly, only at this stage the group was escorted and thus the Muslim violence was awarded and this is without a doubt an invitation for further escalation. This is the reason the “Mount” is a barrel of explosives; there’s surrender to violence.”
