Jeish Al-Islam Commander Killed in Damascus

The Syrian army killed a commander of Jeish al-Islam terrorist group in Damascus province as the government forces, backed by the country’s warplanes and the artillery units, continue to tighten noose on the Takfiris.

Abdel Sattar Al-Nesrin, a commander of Jeish al-Islam was killed in clashes with the Syrian army in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus province on Tuesday.

Sources also said a group of militants were killed and injured in clashes with the Syrian army on the outskirts of Ein Tarma town and in the vicinity of al-Marj region in Eastern Ghouta.

Earlier reports said the militant group’s gathering centers in Ein Tarma in Eastern Ghouta were massively shelled by the Syrian army’s artillery.

Initial battlefield reports said, at least, a dozen terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in the Syrian army raid on their military positions in Ein Tarma.

Clashes also erupted between the army and militants in Tal Kurdi region in the vicinity of Douma city in Eastern Ghouta.

The Syrian army also fired artillery shells at Darayya city and Harzama town in Damascus countryside.

Also on Tuesday, the Syrian army engaged in fierce battles with militants in Jobar district to the East of Damascus city, leaving a group of militants dead and injured. The Syrian army also fired artillery shells at militants’ positions in Jobar.

The Syrian warplanes also launched airstrikes on Takfiri militants’ positions in Douma city in the province.
