Kashmir protesters hit with tear gas

Police in Kashmir used tear gas and batons to charge a crowd protesting life imprisonment. A number of people have been arrested, including the rally’s organizer, as a mob hurled rocks and bricks at the security forces. On Monday, a court convicted two men to life imprisonment for killing an Indian border guard in 1990.
