Video- Occupy Chicago tries to encamp in downtown park

Under the close watch of officers from the Chicago Police department

the group Occupy Chicago made the march from the Federal Reserve of
Chicago to Grant Park. Last week the group made a similar march,
which resulted in the arrest of around 175 protestors.

The number of the protestors at the start of the march towards Grant
park was estimated at 1,500 people, but the group grew as it made the
track towards the park they hope to set up their camp at. Chanting
“we are the 99 percent,” and this is what democracy looks like the
group added both the curious and spectators to their ranks.

The movement has grown larger according to some police estimates.
And now they have decided to set up camp at grant park which closes at
11 pm despite police orders. The same type of situation led to
multiple arrests last week. Now the group wants those charges
dismissed, and the opportunity to set up their camp here.
