Lebanon- After Terrorist Explosion in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs…Wired Car Found in al-Naameh

Security forces found a parked car rigged with explosion on the internal main road of the town of al-Naameh.

A high-ranked security source told al-Ahed news website, “Security forces were able to find a rigged Audi in al-Naameh town with a forged car plate of a Honda.”

Inside the car’s trunk was around 200 kilograms of T.N.T. and C4, according to sources.

Moreover, the Lebanese National News Agency stated that after a military expert in the Internal Security Forces checked the car, 5 boxes of T.N.T were found in the trunk as well as a collection of nitrates and fuses unprepared for explosion.

The residents of the building in al-Naameh had filed a complaint three days ago because an anonymous car parked near their building.
