Terrorists’ Operations Room in Eastern Damascus Destroyed in Syrian Army Attack

The Syrian Army soldiers continued to hit the defense lines of Al-Nusra Front (Fatah al-Sham Front) in Eastern Ghouta, destroying a main Operations Room of the terrorists, informed sources reported on Sunday.

The sources said that the army troops engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra North of Tishrin district, destroying a number of their positions, including a central operations room, and inflicting a number of casualties on the terrorists.

The sources said that the army units meantime managed to drive the Al-Nusra terrorists out of more positions in Tishrin, adding, other units of the army are still targeting Al-Nusra’s concentration centers in al-Qaboun district Northeast of the capital, Damascus.

Media sources said earlier today that the army soldiers stopped and seized a vehicle of the terrorists loaded with a large volume of munitions, including British-manufactured missiles, in Damascus countryside.

The Arabic language al-Hadath news quoted a military source as saying that the army men seized a pickup vehicle of the terrorists with four Britain-made missiles and over 200 boxes of heavy and semi-heavy ammunition and guns.

Al-Hadath went on to say that the vehicle has left Dara’a to militant-held regions near Damascus.
