Leader attends International book fair in Tehran

The Leader of Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended the 24th Tehran International Book Fair Wednesday morning.

The fair has officially began in the Iranian capital on May 4 in the presence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and would continue its work until May 14.

In 2010, the annual event hosted around 2,000 publishers, including 980 international publishers with some 170,000 titles on display.

This year, about 4,000 Iranian and international publishers are participating in the event.
