Leader Imam Khamenei’s Aide: US too petty to stand against IRGC

Ali Akbar Velayati made the remarks while speaking to the reporters, saying that US sanctions against Iran is nothing new. “IRGC stands against the US and Israel’s avarice, and that angers Americans.” He added.

He went on to say that IRGC is the Resistance Axis in the region. Without the trainings and consultations of IRGC, the terrorist group ISIL would still be standing in Syria and Iraq. Therefore, as the main supporters of ISIL, Americans are troubled by Guards corp.

“But the US is too petty to do anything against IRGC, since Iranian people are united in defending the territorial integrity, the system, Iranian identity and Islamic belief.” Velayati asserted.

Concerning US exit from JCPOA, the senior advisor said “leaving the authority of US commitments at the hands of an unpredictable person who knows no logic, will be disadvantageous to Americans.”

The Iranian official added “Iran has all options on the table, and whatever they do, we will reciprocate with a firm hand. Other signatories of the nuclear deal are responsible to urge US to stop violating international regulations.”
