Leader: Iran Willing to Share Technological Advancements with Saudi Arabia
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, highlighted Iran's various advancements during discussions with the Saudi defense minister in Tehran. He conveyed Iran's willingness to share these developments with Saudi Arabia.

In a high-profile diplomatic engagement, Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman visited Tehran on Thursday afternoon. As the brother of Crown Prince and the kingdom’s de facto leader Mohammed bin Salman, Prince Khalid delivered a message from Saudi Arabia’s King Salman to Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Leader expressed optimism regarding the future relationship between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia, suggesting that the partnership could prove advantageous for both nations, enabling them to complement one another effectively.
Ayatollah Khamenei remarked on Iran’s progress, stating that the Islamic Republic is prepared to assist Saudi Arabia in these domains.
He emphasized the importance of regional unity, suggesting that collaboration among neighboring states is preferable to depending on external assistance.
Ayatollah Khamenei has highlighted the presence of adversaries to the growing relations between the two nations. He asserted, “These antagonistic intentions must be surmounted, and we stand prepared to address this challenge.”
The Saudi defense minister conveyed significant satisfaction following the meeting, which also saw the attendance of Iran’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri.
Prince Khalid announced his visit to Tehran with the intention of broadening relations and enhancing cooperation with Iran across various sectors, as reported by the state news agency IRNA.
He expressed optimism that the constructive discussions will pave the way for enhanced relations between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran compared to previous years, he added.
