Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Khamenei urges reflection on political Islam

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei called upon the Iranian university students abroad to amass knowledge by exercising wisdom and stressed combining both with piety and chastity.

In a message to the 49th annual meeting of the Union of the Islamic Associations of Iranian Students in Europe, Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei underlined the need for the link between knowledge and wisdom on one hand, and their association with piety and chastity on the other hand. In this case, he emphasized, no asset will be more valuable for the country than the young students exercising those values.

The Supreme Leader said studying in the foreign universities provides Iranian young students with opportunities to take advantage of highly knowledgeable and wise scientists.

Addressing the young students, Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei also encouraged them to reflect more on the reasons why the West’s policies seek to promote Islamophobia.

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei also called on the students to think about the strong elements in Iran’s political Islam which challenges all those greedy, oppressive and arrogant powers.
