Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei observes Arbaeen

The religious mourning ceremony of Arbaeen was held on Saturday in the presence of the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

The university students joined the Leader in the ritual to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS). The occasion is observed 40 days after the martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his companions on Ashura — the tenth day of the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar year, Muharram.
