Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the need for unifying elements within the Islamic world, suggesting that Eid al-Fitr serves as a pivotal occasion to integrate its diverse segments into a cohesive and effective entity. He made this statement during a meeting with government officials and ambassadors from Islamic nations in Tehran in observance of Eid al-Fitr on Monday.

The Leader emphasized the urgency of the current developments, urging everyone to closely monitor and assess their stance in these evolving situations. “Today, this responsibility falls upon Islamic governments,” he stated.

Ayatollah Khamenei declared that the Islamic Republic is reaching out to all Islamic governments, regarding itself as a brotherly ally on the same unified front with them.

A prominent figure has stated that certain regions within the Islamic world are currently experiencing significant distress and turmoil.

Ayatollah Khamenei has expressed profound concern over the situation in the region, highlighting what he described as unparalleled atrocities. He stated that both Palestine and Lebanon are suffering immensely. He emphasized the gravity of the situation by citing figures of nearly 20,000 children killed in under two years during the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which commenced in October 2023.

The Leader highlighted the necessity for unity among Islamic governments to effectively address and counter the unprecedented actions of the Israeli regime and its allies in Palestine and Lebanon.

Earlier today, Ayatollah Khamenei presided over the Eid al-Fitr prayers.
