Lebanese president urges a peaceful solution to Syrian crisis

The Lebanese President, Michel Suleiman, has once again called for a political and negotiated solution to the Syrian crisis.

According to IRIB World Service, citing Al-Manar TV Network, the Lebanese president, in a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Serzh Sarkisyan, in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut, on Monday night, emphasized on Lebanon’s opposition to foreign interference in the Syrian crisis and urged for a negotiated solution to the Syrian crisis.
The Lebanese president also expressed hope that the mission of the UN envoy, Akhzar Ibrahimi, in finding a solution to Syrian crisis would be a success.
The Armenian president, within the framework of his three-day visit to Lebanon, has met and conferred with the Lebanese officials, emphasizing on a peaceful solution to Syrian crisis and the opposition of his country to violence.
The Armenian president arrived in the Lebanese Capital, Beirut, on Monday, heading a high-ranking delegation.
