Lebanon Celebrates 69th Independence Day

The Lebanese Army held a ceremony Thursday morning on the 69th Independence Day in participation of the Lebanese president, the PM, and the speaker of the parliament, as well as a large crowd of ministers, MPs, also political, diplomatic, and military figures.

As accustomed, the occasion included a military show and soldiers placed rose diadems on the independence founders’ tombs and another on René Moawad’s memorial in Beirut.
