Lebanon’s Minister of Finance: Syria Must Be Invited to Attend Economic Summit in Beirut

The Lebanese minister of finance Ali Hasan Khalil stressed that the ongoing governmental void is pushing the country’s economic crisis to take a financial aspect, warning against the possible monetary repercussions in this regard.

In a different context, Khalil called for inviting Syria to attend the economic summit (to be held in Beirut on January 20, 2019), highlighting the importance of changing Lebanon’s attitude towards the Syrian government.
