Iran to support anti-Zionist plans, envoy

Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi expressed Tehran’s readiness to support the anti-Zionist plans in the region aiming to free Palestinians from oppression.

Addressing an international meeting in Beirut Tuesday evening, Roknabadi urged the international and regional bodies to pay more attention to the existing situation in the region, particularly the issues of Palestine and resistance.

Elaborating on the Zionists’ plots against the regional nations, the Iranian envoy said the Zionist regime is trying to marginalize the issue of Palestine to safegaurd its own interests.
