Tehran’s provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani on Friday warned against US deceptions and said officials should be vigilant not to be deceived by Washington trickery.

Referring to big demonstrations held on December 30, 2009 in Tehran and other Iranian cities to support the Supreme Leader against the plots hatched by hegemonic powers and their local agents, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani said those demostrations once again reunited the Iranian people with their Supreme Leader as well as the Velayat-e Faqih (religious leadership).

‘On that day, the Iranian nation gave a humiliating lesson to global arrogance and its puppets,’ he said.

Iranian people proved that they are faithful to the holy Quran and play an active role to support the Islamic Revolution when necessary, said Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani.

In his second sermon, he advised the country’s officials to exercise vigilance in order not to be deceived by the US.

Referring to violation of nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers often called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by the Americans, he said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in the early stages of the nuclear talks, explicitly declared that he was not optimistic about the talks, but the officials failed to take his remarks seriously.

The Supreme Leader for several times underlined that the US is an enemy and nobody should trust them, said Friday prayers substitute leader, adding that the officials should have learned enough lesson.

‘We should rely on our youth and national resources to resolve the country’s economic issues,’ he said.

On current developments in Yemen and Bahrain, he said Al-Khalifa and Al-Saud should be ashamed of their inhuman crimes in those countries.

He also congratulated Syrian people on their victory in Aleppo and said it was not merely a military triumph but a victory of culture and Islam over nonbelievers.
