Masses gather for the Second Sunday of Return, marking the liberation of South Lebanon
Large groups of Lebanese citizens have convened nationwide to show support for the residents in the south, who are calling for the liberation of their territories currently under occupation.

Israeli military forces persist in their violations of United Nations Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire accord with Lebanon, with these breaches occurring notably in the frontline villages along the border with Israel. This continues despite the passing of the 60-day withdrawal deadline specified in the agreement.
According to reports from Al Mayadeen’s correspondent based in southern Lebanon, Israeli military forces have allegedly set fire to residential properties on the outskirts of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as in Rub Thalathin close to the border with occupied Palestinian territories. The incident was reported on Saturday.
