Iran has no doubt Assad’s reform plan will succeed: deputy FM

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that the Islamic Republic is confident that the reform plan put forward by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will come to fruition.
In an interview with the Persian service of the Fars News Agency published on Monday, Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran has also presented some proposals to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, and UN mediator Lakhdar Brahimi to help resolve the Syrian crisis.
