More than 17,000 people killed, 46,000 others injured in two months
350 Palestinians were killed, and 900 others were injured in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry declared on Thursday evening.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the Gaza death toll has risen to 17,177.
About 46,000 others were injured since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, on October 7, Al-Qudra added.
The Israeli occupation deliberately aims to undermine health care infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, he said.
The capacity of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City has been exceeded due to the large number of wounded people transferred to the facility, Al-Qudra continued.
The occupancy rate of hospitals in Gaza reached 206%, he said, pointing out that only 1% of the total wounded were able to cross the Rafah crossing for treatment.
