Muslim Cleric: Wall Street rallies failure of secular sciences

Muslim cleric criticized says Wall Street Occupation is a result of the downfall of secular humanity sciences and the west is not able to survive this crisis.

Hujjat-ol-Islam Reza Gholami, secretary of the first international congress on Islamic humanities referred to the recent crisis in western countries and counted escalating social insecurity and Nihilism as reasons for failure behind west’s capitalist system and uprising of the people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He pointed to the causes for west’s deadlock saying, “On the one hand escalation of social problems and insecurity worsened by heightening nihilism, failure of the capitalist system, and uprising of the people against economic injustice followed by political problems are tokens for failure of the theories and ideological systems which, during the past century, have spared no effort to support and purify the capitalist system.”

“The west is not able to survive the quagmire,” the cleric said.

He also praised the high teachings of Islam based on holy Qur’an and said, “Contrary to the western system, stands the pure Islamic guidelines with Qur’an as the sole divine text which has not been subject to distortion.”

The original Shia Fiq’h besides the so called elements have the necessary potentiality to answer the vital questions in man’s life, he added.

According to Hujjat-ol-Islam Gholami, Islam has the capability for a proper understanding of individual and social issues of man’s life and prescribes efficient remedy for them.

He stressed humanities as the guiding light for individual and social development of man.
