Iran Poised to React to biased IAEA Resolution, Says Foreign Ministry Spokesman
Iran has announced the preparation of a series of proportionate responses should the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) decide to adopt a resolution against the country.

On Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei announced that Tehran, in collaboration with the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), has developed a range of potential responses to the resolution.
He expressed disapproval regarding a recent report by the IAEA Director General concerning Iran’s nuclear program. The report asserted that Iran did not disclose its nuclear activities at three undisclosed sites and highlighted worries about the nation’s accumulation of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity.
Baghaei stated that Rafael Grossi’s report is driven by political motives, aiming to further the interests of the United States and its European allies.
He stated that Grossi’s comments align with the political goals of nations that stand in opposition to Iran.
Baghaei underscored Iran’s expectation that the IAEA chief will denounce the ongoing threats from the United States and Israel, instead of seeking to rationalize them.
He reaffirmed that, in line with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards and the stipulations of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Iran’s nuclear activities have consistently adhered to a peaceful trajectory.
Iranian authorities have previously criticized the classified report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), cautioning that any action driven by political motives against the Islamic Republic could jeopardize Tehran’s collaboration with the United Nations’ nuclear oversight body.
In recent years, the agency has consistently made politically charged allegations concerning the Islamic Republic’s nuclear dossier, despite its own findings frequently confirming the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear activities.
Earlier on Tuesday, Iran’s nuclear chief criticized recent statements by the head of the UN atomic agency, asserting that the remarks lack both technical and legal legitimacy. The official further claimed that these comments align with Zionist psychological campaigns against Tehran.
Mohammad Eslami, the chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), responded to comments made by Rafael Grossi in his recent address.
An Iranian official criticized Mr. Grossi’s statements, asserting that they were devoid of technical and legal substance. The official characterized the discourse of the IAEA chief as entirely influenced by “psychological and political operations” orchestrated by what they referred to as the Zionist regime of Israel against the Islamic Republic.
In making these remarks, Grossi has unmistakably revealed his true character, aligning himself with those who have long been engaged in psychological operations against Iran.
The Islamic Republic is subject to the highest level of scrutiny by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has not found evidence supporting allegations of any “diversion.”
Tehran has emphatically rejected any intentions of pursuing, obtaining, or maintaining nuclear weapons, citing adherence to moral and religious principles.
European countries are reportedly preparing to pressure the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) into adopting a resolution against Iran, potentially leading to the reinstatement of United Nations sanctions on the Islamic Republic. The IAEA’s Board of Governors is scheduled to convene on Monday and may consider issuing the resolution amid mounting pressure.
