Israeli airstrike on Gaza injures 4 Palestinians

At least four Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike late Monday evening, medical and security sources said.

The wounded were taken for treatment to Ash-Shifa Hospital, where medics described their shrapnel injuries as mild to moderate.

The air attack targeted a home east of Gaza City, Palestinian security sources reported. Several homes were reportedly damaged.

On sunday, senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahhar said that the Zionist airstrikes on Gaza seek to disturb the peace and prompt a response in order to defer attention from Jerusalem.
