“No victory for Islamic Revolution without leadership”, Sunni cleric

Sheikh Mahdi al-Samide’ei, senior Iraqi Mufti, in an interview on 39th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution hailed the status of Islamic revolution in the world and stressed the victory would not be achieved had it not been for the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Despite hardships and the war imposed on Iran, the country has achieved stability and made landmark developments in international arena, all of which the results of Islamic Revolution.”
Iraqi scholar referred to expansion of the Islamic Revolution message across the world of Islam and even some western countries stressing,” Iran has taken giant steps towards development contrary to the international sanctions and constant plots by arrogant powers to interfere in its domestic affairs.”
“Iran has been the greatest supporter of Palestine and other liberating movements across the world” said Sheikh al-Samide’ei and lauded the Islamic Revolution for expanding its supports to the resistance forces in Iraq and Syria.
