Tehran’s interim Friday prayers Leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani , has said the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran provides a good opportunity to work towards lasting justice and peace in the world.

According to IRIB World Service, addressing a massive crowd of Friday prayers worshippers and the faithful in Tehran, Ayatollah Emami Kashani described the Non-Aligned Movement summit as successful, and said the summit provides a good opportunity to work towards establishment of lasting justice and peace in the world, and to work towards prosperity of nations.
Tehran’s interim Friday prayers Leader described the summit as a very important and major diplomatic event , and said the goal of this summit is to attain the common objectives of the non-aligned countries and “to build a better world for the future”.
Ayatollah Emami Kashani went on to say that the non-aligned movement countries have ample resources and capacities, stressing that Iran’s three-year presidency of NAM can lead to aims and objectives of the Non-Aligned Movement being achieved relatively quickly.
Tehran’s interim Friday prayers Leader also called on the Non-Aligned Movement to make more effort to end the Zionist occupation of Palestine and to introduce reforms and restructuring to the United Nations , to make it more democratic, given the fact that two thirds of UN General Assembly members are also members of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Ayatollah Emami Kashani added: “The issue of Palestine and the issue of Zionist crimes and atrocities don’t just concern a few regional countries, rather, this is an issue of concern to the entire humanity, and Non-Aligned Movement countries should pay special attention to this issue”.
