Iran’s battle group enters Pacific Ocean

Commander of Army Naval Forces has said after presence of 23 battle group of IRI in Indian Ocean and securing the region, for the first time, the 24th IRI battle group enters Pacific Ocean.
In a meeting with reporters on Monday, Rear Admiral Habiballah Sayyari announced the powerful presence of IRI battle group in the open waters of South East Asia and the Pacific.

He pointed to the recommendations of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for bringing message of peace and friendship to the world and said “in order to implement the Supreme Commander-in-Chief ideas, Navy’s continuous presence in open waters north of the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, Bab-el-Mandeb (Gate of Grief), Read Sea, and Suez Cannel, now we experience presence in South East Asia.”

He pointed to the anchoring of the 24th Battle Group in the Strait of Malacca, and said “navy presence in South East Asia and the Pacific is for the first time since the revolution and we have experienced navigating over 20,000 Km.”

He also added that “the route for IRI battle group deployed in the open waters is, South East Asia, the southern Indian Ocean, into the Bay of Bengal, and the Malacca Strait, and tomorrow Islamic Republic of Iran Battle Group will arrive into Pacific Ocean, and our final destination will be Zhang Jian, China.
