Official Reports 68 Iranian Athletes Martyred in Conflict with Terrorist ‘israel’
A government official reports that up to 68 Iranian athletes lost their lives during a 12-day conflict initiated by the Israeli regime against the Islamic Republic, which commenced on June 13.

Seyyed Ghani Nazari, a representative from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, made the announcement during a ceremony held in the north-central city of Qom, Iran, on Tuesday.
The fatalities are part of the 935 individuals who lost their lives during the conflict that targeted the nation’s nuclear and military infrastructure, as well as numerous civilian sites.
The casualties encompass several high-ranking military officials and nuclear scientists, with the latter being targeted within their own residential premises.
Reports emerging towards the conclusion of the conflict, following Iranian retaliatory operations that compelled the regime to seek a ceasefire, indicate that at least 32 athletes, including children, pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults, were killed in the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
Nazari emphasized the country’s resilience amid the aggression, stating, “Our religious heritage has instilled in us the strength to resist oppression.”
An official praised a significant increase in national unity and cohesion among citizens since the beginning of the aggression, highlighting a notable rise particularly among teenagers and young adults.
The Islamic Republic has urged the United Nations to hold the Israeli government accountable for what it describes as barbaric assaults, and has also demanded accountability from the United States.
The United States has delivered unparalleled military and intelligence support to Israel amid the conflict, while simultaneously advancing its own strategic agenda by targeting multiple Iranian nuclear facilities.
