Larijani: Syria’s presidential elections changed political equations in favor of the Syrian people

Chairman of the Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani, stressed that the victory of President Bashar al-Assad in the presidential elections and the participation of the Syrian people in the elections in spite of the threats of the armed terrorist groups are a very important international and regional event that changed political equations in favor of the Syrian people and the resistance axis.

In a congratulatory cable sent to President al-Assad on winning the presidential elections, Larijani said these elections and victory affirm that the only solution to end the current crisis in Syria is national dialogue based on the desire and will of the Syrian people.

Earlier, President al-Assad received several congratulations cables from international, Arab and Syrian personalities and organizations for winning the presidential elections.
