Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh on Wednesday evening phoned Al-Arish Governor Abdul Fattah Harhour, and congratulated him on the liberation of the kidnapped soldiers and their safe return.
Haniyeh thanked Harhour for the hospitality he has shown to the Palestinians; who were obliged to stay on the Egyptian territories without being able to return to Palestine during the crisis days.
He stressed on the depth of the relationship between Palestine and Egypt, adding that “security in the Sinai represents an integral part of the Palestinian national security.”
