Ramadan can boost Muslim unity

Iranian MP expressed regret over the crimes committed against Muslims and called Ramadan as a potential factor to strengthen unity of Muslims.

Hujjat-ol-Islam Mohammad Taqi Rahbar, member of Iran’s eighth Parliament highlighted Ramadan as a month of unity among Muslims demanding for more solidarity among Muslims to beat the enemies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said, “When Muslims across the world are enthusiastic to listen to Qur’an, fast or hold vigils, then it means that a nation unites to let out the motto of fasting.”

Hujjat-ol-Islam Rahbar referred to prayer and Hajj pilgrimage as another factor for unity of Muslims and added, “These days enemies of Muslims and a group of regional puppet rulers are united with the Zionists to suffocate the people.”

He said the more united the nations are, the more achievements they will have.

Iranian cleric referred to the resistance of the Muslims in some Muslim countries and reiterated, “Unfortunately when the people in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Syria are standing against the US plots, some petrified Arab leaders in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey are helping the terrorists.”

This scholar also expressed regret over the massacre of Muslims in Myanmar.
