Professor Sibt-e-Jaffar, the principal of Liaquatabad degree college Karachi, was killed by sectarian militants near Liaquatabad area of Karachi.
He was killed on the spot.

Professor Sibt-e-Jaffar was better known as “Ustad Sibta-e-Jaffar” among the local Community because of his unmatched services in Education, elegizing and poetry on Imam Hussain (as).

Sources said college principal Sibt-e-Jaffar was on his way from the college to his home on a motorcycle, when unidentified armed men intercepted him in Liaquatabad area and opened fire, killing him.

In another incident a senior lawyer namely Syed Zaheer Abbas Naqvi was gunned down by the armed terrorist while he was on his way to the local court in Peshawar on Monday.
He was shifted to local hospital in critical position where he embraced martyrdom.

Martyr Zaheer Abbas was advocating several cases of Shia’s prisoners of D.I.Khan, Bhakkar and Peshawar.

It’s pertaining to mention here that number of Shia Muslim professionals including doctors and lawyers were gunned down by sectarian militants linked to banned groups Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Taliban in different areas of Pakistna in recent years.

According to another report received from Peshawar, four people were killed and 30 other were injured in a suicide blast in the capital of Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa province on Monday.
The blast took place at the premises of the judicial complex of Peshawar city.
Two attackers tried to enter the judicial complex premises from one of the entrances where they were stopped by security.

Police said, one of the attackers was shot dead by security forces while another blasted the explosive device with him.
At least 30 people, including three policemen and a woman were injured in the attack.
