Palestinian resistance confronts invading Israeli forces on Gaza shores

Palestinian resistance fighters managed on Monday to confront an Israeli naval attack and foiled a landing operation on Gaza shores, Palestinian sources said.

Eyewitnesses said that Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire at a number of Israeli gunboats, which were bombing Palestinian homes along Gaza shores.

The Israeli gunboats were forced to withdraw under heavy resistance fire, local sources told Quds Press.

On the other hand, Hamas’s armed wing Qassam Brigades said in a statement that it managed to manufacture a new model of sniper rifles.

Meanwhile, Islamic Jihad Movement declared that one of its leaders was killed in northern Gaza Strip during an Israeli airstrike on a civilian home in Jabaliya.

The movement’s armed wing Al-Quds Brigades issued a statement on Monday saying that its leader Daniel Mansour was killed in an Israeli raid on a civilian home in Jabaliya.
