Palestinian Resistance Leaders Wish Quick Recovery for Leader of Ummah Imam Khamenei

Leaders of different Palestinian resistance groups in separate messages wished quick recovery for Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei who underwent a successful prostate surgery earlier this week.
Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shalah in a message felicitated the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei on his successful surgery and wished for his quick recovery.

Mahmoud Zahar, a senior member of Hamas’ political office, also in his message prayed for the swift recovery of Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

Member of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement Abbas Zaki in a similar message congratulated the successful surgery of Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

“The Iranian Supreme Leader is leading a system that prevented any US action against Iran,” Zaki told FNA on Saturday, adding, “The Palestinians take honor in Iran’s scientific and technological superiority as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s determination and we believe in Iran’s stand and resistance against the West’s threats.”

Meantime, Abu Mujahid, the foreign relations director of Palestine’s Popular Resistance Committees congratulated the Iranian nation on the successful surgery of the Supreme Leader.

Also, Jamil Mazhar, a politburo member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in his message wished for the quick recovery of the Supreme Leader.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei went under a prostate surgery at a public hospital in Tehran on Monday morning.

Surgeons said the operation has been successful.

A large number of the world leaders, including Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and leaders of Pakistan, Turkey, Kuwait and Lebanon, have sent congratulatory messages to the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei on his successful surgery.

Before going to the hospital, the Supreme Leader told reporters that “there is no reason to worry; this, of course, does not mean that I don’t need people’s prayers, but God willing, there is no point to worry as it is a normal operation.”

“God willing everything will go on well,” Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei added.

Meantime, former Health Minister Dr. Alireza Marandi who is now a ranking member of the parliament’s Health and Treatment Commission and also heads the Leader’s medical team, told FNA that “the leader emphasized that he did not intend to cause any trouble for other patients and that’s why he went to the hospital very early in the morning to go under the operation”.

“His Excellency also stressed that the operation should be done at a public hospital,” he added.

Dr. Marandi, who is also the President of Iran’s Academy of Medical Sciences, said that the leader has demanded him to inform the public of his “good health conditions following the surgery”.

Dr. Marandi said like the other patients who have undergone a similar operation, the Leader will be hospitalized for 3 to 5 days. Then, he can return to normal life, but he should avoid a heavy working agenda for a few weeks, Dr. Marandi added.
