Muslim Nigerian People Continue Peaceful Free Zakzaky Rallies

 

Brothers of the IMN continue to show their protest on the illegal detention of its leader His Eminence Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) who has been in detention since December, 14th 2015 despite a Federal High court judgement ordering his release since December 2016.

On Friday March 31st, 2017 after Friday prayers in Kano, Yola and Kaduna where protests were staged calling for the unconditional release of Shaikh Zakzaky (H), his wife Malama Zenatuddeen Ibrahim and hundreds others as well as paying 25 Million Naira and building a house at any location of his choice. MalaM Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki in Kano spoke at Kano rally expressing IMN stance whose members are peace loving. He denounced all forms of oppression and atrocities of the Nigerian Army who killed over 345 followers of Sheikh Zakzaky- the figure is according to Kaduna State Government, during the December 2015 Zaria Massacre while hundreds others are yet to be seen.

He also reiterated IMN will stand by its right to resist any form of injustice and oppression, while extending prayers to the Almighty for his divine intervention in freeing Shaikh Zakzaky (H). Shaikh Zakzaky (H) his wife and many of his followers after the Zaria December 2015 carnage have been in detention in different location in Nigeria with some taken to court on flimsy charges. Shaikh Zakzaky and some of his followers are in poor health condition and are not given proper medical attention.
