Syrian Community in the US Holds Mass for Peace in Syria

The Syrian Arab community in the US on Thursday held a religious mass that brought together all religions in New York under the title “Joint Prayers for Peace in Syria.

Representatives of all religions, Syria’s permanent Envoy to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari and different official personalities took part in the mass.

Participants in the mass which was led by Pastor Gregory Mansour, called for working to restore peace and stability to Syria, spread amity among the Syrians.

Members of the Syrian community affirmed that dialogue is the only way out of the crisis in the country.

Ghiath Mousa, Spokesman of the Syrian-US forum said “the most important thing now is to meet altogether to show our people in Syria that we are here to support them through using all news agencies in the US to convey their word to the US administration.”

“All participants and prayers of all religions called for the protection of our country to assert that the only solution is dialogue,” Mousa added.
