Syria bypasses a sharp turn

Meeting of the foreign ministrs of the Arab countries for discussing the report by the Arab League delegates to Syria is telling of a completely different picture from the reality in Syria.

It showed the big lies told by US-backed media like Al Jazeera, Alarabiya, BBC and other anti Syria media affiliated to regional and international front about the domestic situation of Syria.

This report put the foresaid front in a passive state of confusion and anxiety to the point that the head of the committee, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of US-backed Qatar was made to take back his suggestion over inclusion of some western experts in the Arab delegate deployed to Syria.

The suggestion to internationalize the crisis in Syria was proposed over a period of time as if Qatar was counting down for a military intervention of western forces.

The final statement issued by the Arab ministerial committee on Syria crisis referred to some armed group among the opposition leaders, a point which was approved for the first time. This point was previously denied and was basically an excuse for cracking down Syria.

What is missing is the question over the agent who armed these groups, still providing them with military and logistic support and that how is it that the efforts to making a national political issue into a regional military and possibly international crisis is not noticed by the regional and world powers while Turkey which obviously backs armed groups and houses them in its soil is not opposed at all?

On the other hand we have to notice that although Syria has just passed a sharp turn by the foreign threats due to internationalized crisis, the story is not finished yet. The mission of the observatory delegate is not finished and the number of observing members would increase and the countries of so called justice axis (or in fact countries affiliated with the US and the zionist regime) which look forward to topple Bashar al Assad and making a gap in the Resistance front against the dominance of the US and Israel in the region have not stopped their efforts but they have become more and more aggressive. The result of this aggressiveness inside Syria is obvious in the form of suicide attacks because as the entrances to the country are controlled, the attacks in the capital increase.

After all the crisis in Syria is not finished yet and eventually this crisis needs a political and domestic solution rather than a security and foreign answer.

Syrian government should not let the political solution to be blocked and if it does not meet the political and civil demands of its nation, it will come to an impasse.

Although Syria has announced its readiness for reforms and has actually taken some steps for that, assessing the result of the reforms remain to be seen. Besides building trust and regaining the national unity after the crisis is really difficult.

Although at present the efforts of israeli-backed Qatar in political and financial aspects and Turkey’s political and military efforts to internationalizing the Syria crisis as well as paving the way for sudden or gradual military intervention of the Western countries and toppling of Bashar al Assad is failed but the efforts of foreign front is not halted yet same way that crisis is not resolved yet.

Following the submission of the first report by the ministerial committee, the concerns over the hostile propagandas are calmed and the confusion is explained, and the US has somehow missed its great allies like Mubarak, Bin Ali and Ali Abdullah Salih; hence, it would not suffice to something less than Syria.

The struggle is really serious therefore the most important way for beating these efforts is maintaining national unity in Syria and compromising with independent opposition groups. Certainly Iran and Hezbollah can help both the Syrian government and the opposition groups for this end.
