Popular Activities across Syria to Express Support for Reform Program

Popular activities continued in Syrian governorates on Friday to express support for reform program, national unity and rejection of sabotage acts.

Thousands gathered in Bab Touma area in Damascus to express rejection of sabotage acts committed by armed terrorist groups and support for the army’s role in preserving the safety and stability of the homeland.
The participants chanted the national anthem and carried banners which stress adherence to national unity and rejection of foreign interference.

In Slunfeh town in Lattakia, a huge gathering was held and a 1000- meter Syrian flag was raised in support of the reform program.

Also in Lattakia, popular committees held a huge celebration in Jablah area on the occasion of Army Day.
A popular assembly was held in Bisnada Cemetery in Lattakia with the participants stressing that the Syrian people faced and overcame the conspiracy and realized its true purpose whish is punishing Syria for its national stances and siding with the resistance.

In Dreikish city in Tartous Governorate, thousands raised a 200-meter flag to express support for the reform program led by President Bashar al-Assad.

In the event, a picture of President al-Assad, 4 meters long and 2 meters wide, was unveiled in Himmeen town square in Dreikish.
