President Ahmadinejad in Semnan Province for 4th Round of Provincial Tours

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived Thursday in Semnan province, Central Iran, in a bid to start the fourth round of his regular provincial tours.

President Ahmadinejad is slated to speak for a large audience in Semnan province later today.

Eight cabinet ministers are accompanying President Ahmadinejad during his visit to Semnan province. The cabinet will hold a meeting later to follow up the implementation of the development projects that had been approved during the previous provincial tours to the province.

Since taking office in June 2005, President Ahmadinejad took the initiative to visit provinces in a bid to identify and resolve the existing problems in different parts of the country.
