President: Iran considers regional, Muslim states ‘friends, brothers’
Masoud Pezeshkian has assured the Emir of Qatar that the missile strikes on the US Al Udeid Air Base, carried out on Monday night, were solely a reaction to the United States' involvement in the Israeli actions against Iran.

In a telephone discussion with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that recent events were solely a reaction to the United States’ direct involvement in the Zionist regime’s aggression on Iranian soil. He clarified that it was in no way intended as a confrontation with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s friendly and brotherly neighbor, Qatar.
Iran launched a barrage of missiles targeting the Al Udeid Air Base in Doha last night, in retaliation for an earlier action by the United States against three Iranian nuclear sites.
Iran has expressed profound gratitude towards Qatar for its goodwill and supportive actions, particularly during challenging periods, highlighting the friendly and brotherly ties between the two nations.
The Emir emphasized that the US military base located within his nation has never been employed for actions against Iran and reiterated his country’s desire to strengthen fraternal relations with Iran.
Sheikh Tamim expressed his desire for a meeting with President Pezeshkian to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral relations.
