President Rouhani in Assalouyeh to visit South Pars gas projects

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani heading a delegation arrived in port city of Assalouyeh in southern province of Bushehr Saturday to visit the projects of the South Pars gas field development.

According to IRNA, upon arrival, the President was welcomed by Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh as well as a number of local officials.
Assalouyeh is known as Iran’s energy capital.
While in Assalouyeh, President Rouhani is to participate in a local meeting, tour South Pars gas field as well as several petrochemical complexes.
President Rouhani arrived in Bushehr Province Saturday morning to visit the quake-stricken areas.
